The following test word uses soft hyphens, which only shows up if the word wraps. When you double-click the test word, it should select the entire word -- this is the behavior Firefox and IE follow.

In Chrome, however, only the sections leading up to the one you click are selected. If you double-click "con", only "con" get selected. Double-click "cur" and "concur" get selected.
